Too much Tasering in Michigan!!!   Lloyd Brumbaugh, a church-going, working, father of five was tazed by a Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputy at an Ypsilanti Township (Michigan) park in Sept 2008 when his child had wandered from the sitter.  Lloyd took the child from a woman running with the child.  The Deputy arrived and told Lloyd to drop the child, while Lloyd was on bended knee trying to comfort said child.  Lloyd was unarmed and on bended knee. Six seconds later the woman officer (with a chip on her shoulder) tazed Lloyd in front of his family and other kids and moms at the park.  Lloyd was taken into custody and taken away in an ambulance.  He was unable to contact his wife until seven hours later.  She was in hysterics - thinking he was dead.  Yesterday Lloyd was found guilty of resisting police and faces up to 2 years in prison.  This is injustice!  Please help!!! www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor/index.ssf/2009/05/ypsilanti_township_father_who.html#comments Also in the Michigan news this year is the death of Brett Elder a 15 year old boy who was tasered by Bay City Police. www.mlive.com/news/bay-city/index.ssf/2009/05/autopsy_alcohol_taser_shock_ki.html
