Here's a hint, neither is good, but this article goes to show the gender bias, and uphill nature that goes on in Domestic Violence.  There are two sexes, to say that only men are guilty of domestic Violence is a sad mistruth.

To only have Domestic Violence Shelters for Women is another Sexist Viewpoint of the situation.  As yourself this question, how many Domestic Violence shelters for Men have you seen in your life?

There's an interesting video playing on various Web sites. It depicts an Indian reality game show in which the 'hostess' is a cruel, foul-mouthed female dominatrix.

In the video clip she curses out the male contestants with extreme verbal abuse. At one point, she slaps one of the men. To everyone's surprise, he slaps her back.

At that point, the film crew all descend upon the stage, and begin pummeling the MAN because he hit a woman.

The video clip offers a great insight to the issue of DV. When a woman slaps a man, the man is expected to 'take it like a man.' If the man responds in kind to a woman's slap, the other men nearby come rushing to the woman's aid.

If you can't load the page above, just do a search for 'India game show slap' and you'll find a number of sources for the video clip.
